Marianne Kempf

Mrs. Marianne Louise Kempf, age 87, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013. She was born in Muskegon, MI on March 3, 1925 to Harold & Edna (Jensen) Bond and married Ledford Kempf on December 27, 1946. Mrs. Kempf had been employed as a Justice of the Peace and then the Clerk of the Muskegon County District Court for 21 years. She enjoyed collecting American Indian items and loved animals, especially, bird watching. SURVIVORS Sons, Michael (Sandra) Kempf of North Muskegon, Nathan Kempf of Fremont; grandchildren, Michael Kempf, Tracy (John) Crawford, Kathleen James, Stacey Hesse, Nathan Kempf II, Krista Walenga, Kyle Ruegsegger; 16 great grandchildren; brother, Dr. William H. Bond of Muskegon; sister-in-law, Grace Bond; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ledford and brother, Harold Bond. SERVICE Friday, February 22, 2013, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Terry Fulk officiating. Interment at Holton Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION Thursday, 6-8 PM at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: American Heart Association or Mercy VNS & Hospice.
