Marianne Lois Hathaway

Hathaway, Mrs Marianne Lois Muskegon Marianne Lois Hathaway, age 84, went to her eternal home on March 7, 2022. She was born in Muskegon on August 31, 1937 to Louis and Lois (Bowen) Kramer. After graduating from Muskegon High she soon became receptionist for Dr. Henry Clapp. When he retired she crossed the street to her church office at First Congregational. Then Ruth Stevens was elected County Clerk and asked Marianne to be her Chief Deputy in charge of Circuit Court Records. Marianne retired 24 years later in 2009 having served 4 different clerks. Marianne married Gene Hathaway on July 19th in 1958 in Muskegon where they raised Geno and Amy. She was preceded in eternal graduation by her parents Namo and Bumpa, along with older brother Randy Kramer. Geno (Kim) of Grand Haven and Amy of Big Rapids survive along with grandchildren Morgan, Tucker, and Oliver, along with brother Bob(Mary) Kramer and sisters Candy Nastase and Kris Wiethoff. Nothing brought her greater joy than planning and hosting family gatherings. A private family Celebration of Life will be held during the summer.
