Marian B. Vedders

Ms. Marian B. Vedders, age 95, passed away Friday morning, October 24, 2008. She was born June 7, 1913 in Muskegon to Frederick and Mary (Buitenwerf) Vedders. Ms. Vedders worked for E.H. Sheldon for 35 years before retiring in 1978. She was a member of Fifth Reformed Church and the Reformed Church Women's Ministries. SURVIVORS include 2 nieces and 1 nephew, Marilyn (Robert) Glover of Shelby, Karen VanDuinen of New Era, and David (Linda) Vedders of Arizona; and her special caregiver, Carmen Cole. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Barney, Thomas, and George Vedders; and a nephew, James Vedders. SERVICES will be 2:00 PM Monday at The Lee Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100 with Rev. Norman Swier officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS to the Fifth Reformed Church Memorial Fund or Hackley Visiting Nurse Services-Hospice will be appreciated.
