Marian Swanson Ridgeway

Mrs. Marian R. Swanson-Ridgeway, age 93, died Friday, September 5, 2008. She was born in Holland, MI on November 3, 1914 to Peter & Jennie (Nyburg) Williams and married Anton Swanson on August 25, 1939. After Anton's passing in 1989, she would marry Harry Ridgeway. Mrs. Ridgeway had been employed as a Nurse at Mercy Hospital until retiring. She was a member of Samuel Lutheran Church who loved to travel. She always put her family first and will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS 2 daughters, Sandra Schaap of KY, Karin (David) Howell of Spring Lake; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Kerry) Howell, Gregory (Kerry) Howell, Elizabeth (David) Bertani, Jill (Jeff) Strauss, Paul (Jennifer) Howell. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband of 50 years, Anton Swanson, 2nd husband Harry Ridgeway who died in 1999, and 1 great grandchild. SERVICE Monday, September 8, 2008, 11:00 AM with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at Samuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Phillip Nordstrand officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
