Marian Leventis

Mrs. Marian Rose Leventis, age 78, passed away Saturday evening, April 14, 2007 at her home. She was born January 6, 1929 to Michael and Rose (Langlois) Holtz in Muskegon, and was a life resident. Marian worked at Doo Drop Inn and also with her husband at Meijer Shoe Repair. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, entertaining at her pool, and also going to the casino. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Marian married William A. Leventis on February 16, 1952 in Muskegon, and he preceded her in death on March 3, 2003. SURVIVORS include 2 daughters, Roxanne (Tom) Bray of Roosevelt Park, Mari Beth (Bruce) Rice of Norton Shores; 6 grandchildren, Stacey (Tony) Steeno, Ryan and Andrew Bray, Linsey Meloche, Eric and Jennie Rice; 2 brothers, Russell Holtz, John (Linda) Holtz, both of Muskegon; 6 sisters, Lucille Olson, Ann Gradisher, Bernice Drelles all of Muskegon, Lorraine Kamp of Spring Lake, Jean Dagen of Vero Beach, FL, Luanne (John) Leventis of Newcastle, WA; sister-in-law, Zoe Strohm of San Rafael, CA; special friends, Betty Dault and Mike Ciulis; many other relatives and friends. Marian was preceded in death by her daughter, Suzanne Meloche and 2 brothers, Mike and Henry. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be concelebrated at 11:00 AM Thursday at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church by the Rev. Fr. Thomas G. Simons and the Rev. Fr. Michael P. Olson.
