Maria Castro Nino

Mrs. Maria Castro Nino, age 86, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018. She was born in Fentress, Texas on November 29, 1931 to Luis & Victoria (Mendoza) Castro and married Juan Nino. Mrs. Nino had been employed at Bil Mar and then a nursing home in Texas for years until retiring. Maria enjoyed sewing, needle point, Bingo, yard sales, art, shopping and being with family. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Sons, Lupe (Peggy) Herrera, Oscar Ortiz, Jesse Ortiz, Joe (Maria) Gonzales, Johnny Nino Jr., Nick (Jamie) Nino; daughters, MaryAnn Verdusco, Eufemia (Steve) Robar, Juanita Jacobs, Mary Gonzalez, Linda Nino; many grandchildren; many great and great great grandchildren; siblings, Fred (Lupita) Castro, Dora (Candy) Pena, Canda (Jose) Hinojosa, Mingo (Nancy) Castro, Vale (Mary) Castro; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Juan Nino & siblings, Luis Castro and Jose Castro. SERVICE Thursday, October 4, 2018, Noon and visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon. Interment in Egelston Township Cemetery. MEMORIAL: To the Family.
