Marguerite Louise Larson

Mrs. Marguerite Louise (Teaford) Larson, age 82, passed away Friday, March 23, 2007 at Hackley Hospital. She was born on July 4, 1924 in Ludington, MI, to the late Virgil and the late Nettie (Steck) Teaford. In 1948, she married Loyd Russell Larson, who preceded her in death in 1997. Marguerite graduated from Hackley School of Nursing where she earned her RN degree. She was a member of Church of God Seventh Day, kept active with the Senior Meals Advisory Committee; enjoyed bowling and traveling. Marguerite and Loyd were former members of The Airstream Rally Group. Besides her parents and husband, Marguerite was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: Robert, Pauline, Sarah, Walt and Edith. Surviving are her children: Russell Larson of Muskegon, Larry & Lori Larson of Fairfield, IA, and Louise Larson of Muskegon; two granddaughters: Taalia Larson and Gloria Larson; former daughter-in-law, Mary Rundell; step grandchildren: Beth & Brian Billet, Laura & James Shaw, and Matt & Tiffany Rundell; her youngest sister, Gerry & Don Baragar; sister-in-law, Jean Teaford; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Friday, March 30th at 1:00 p.m. at Muskegon's Oakwood Cemetery (Forest St., cross street - McIlwraith) with Pastor Paul Heavilin officiating. In lieu of flowers, please honor Marguerite with a memorial to Church of God Seventh Day, 1762 Dyson St., Muskegon, MI 49442, or a charity of one's choice.
