Margery S. Reams

Mrs. Margery S. Reams (Midge), age 91, died at her daughter's home of Pulmonary Fibrosis on June 5, 2008. She was born in Grand Haven, MI to Raymond & Rhoda (Griffin) Peterson. Prior to moving to Muskegon in 1931, She lived in Fife Lake and Hardy Dam. She was a Muskegon High School graduate and faithfully attended her annual class reunions. She married Lee C. Reams on December 8, 1945. She was a Life Member of Genesis Chapter #88, O.E.S., a member of Central United Methodist Church since 1955 and retired from Hardy-Herpolsheimer's in 1979. She enjoyed bridge, golfing, bowling, reading, family history and gatherings. She is survived by daughter Shirley (Hamel) Saylor of Muskegon; granddaughter, Stephanie (Christopher) Stefanic; great granddaughter, Alexa Stefanic all of Colorado Springs, CO. Also surviving is a brother, Stanley (Marjorie) Peterson, Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee in 2001, sister, Claudia Bielinski, in 2008, and son-in-law, James Saylor in 1993. SERVICE Saturday, June 7, 2008, 11:00 AM at Central United Methodist Church with Dr. Randall R. Hansen officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Friday, 7-8 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: American Lung Association.
