Margaret Houston Morehead

Morehead, Mrs. Margaret Houston Muskegon, MI Mrs. Margaret Houston Morehead, age 80, passed away on July 30, 2022 in Texarkana, AR. She was born in Summerfield, LA on September 1, 1941 to Johnny & Mary Lee (Levingston) Houston. She graduated from Muskegon Heights High School in 1960. Margaret relocated to Texarkana, AR in 2002. She accepted Christ at an early age and join New Mt Zion Baptist Church. Margaret had been employed by American Coil Spring as a machine operator for 15 years. She enjoyed singing but mostly spending time with her family. SURVIVORS Margaret leaves to cherish in her memories, (1) son, (4) grandchildren; (8) greatgrandchildren; (2) sisters, Odessa Houston of Grand Rapids, MI, and Sheila (Samuel) Billups of Muskegon, MI. (1) brother, Donnie (Karen) Houston of Arlington, TX. She was preceded n death by her parents, (1) sister, Mary Louis Hampton, (2) brothers, Ralph and John Houston Jr, and nephew, Kendrick Houston. SERVICES There will be a service held in Texarkana, AR and a memorial held in Muskegon Heights at a later date.
