Laird, Mrs. Margaret Bertha North Muskegon, Michigan Mrs. Margaret Bertha Laird, age 93, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022. She was born in Muskegon, MI on April 5, 1929 to Peter & Josephine (Wagoner) Wenting and married William Laird on February 25, 1947 and he preceded her in death in 2013. Mrs. Laird had been employed as a Bookkeeper for Holly's Nursery for 17 years and then at her husband's business, Green Creek Tool & Die for 10 years. Marge enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking for her family at get-togethers. She liked watching sunsets, listening to music and was a true lover of all kinds of animals. SURVIVORS son, Robert Laird of Whitehall and his dog Odie; daughters of the heart, Dianne (David) Bernd, Paula (William) Whisenant; grandchildren, Billy Whisenant, David (Nina) Whisenant, Rachel (Joe) Wingett, Nicole Crawford; great-grandchildren, Audrey, Carson, Connor, Mackenzie, James; sister-in-laws, Jan Laird, Rosemary Laird; nephews, Jeff (Debbie) Laird, Brian (Patty) Laird; Niece, Debbie (Jack) Bragan. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Patricia Wenting. SERVICE Saturday, August 20, 2022, 11:00 AM at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with VISITATION one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment in Laketon Township Cemetery.
