Marcella C. Kammers, age 91, passed away on November 22, 2023. Marcella was born to John and Mary (Buckley) Halloran on June 21, 1932, a twin to Bernadette. Marcella graduated from St. Mary's Catholic School in Muskegon, and attended Indiana State Teachers College (now Indiana State University) in Terre Haute, Indiana. She worked at Continental Motors and married the love of her life, Norbert Kammers, on August 29, 1953. Long-time members of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Marcella served as Eucharistic Minister, was involved in Charismatic Prayer and the prayer chain, and helped count the church collection for years. Norbert passed away on August 24, 1998. Marcella enjoyed her family, birdwatching, watching sunsets and boats at Lake Michigan, She had a very strong faith in the Lord. She was known for being kind, patient and loving, and will be deeply missed.

Children, Michael Kammers of Grand Haven, Sharon Kammers of Muskegon, Ann (Steven) Grant of Muskegon, Mary (Ronald) Prentkiewicz of Auburn, Alabama, Janice (Joseph) Galarneau of Muskegon; daughter-in-law, Diane Kammers; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; brother, John Halloran. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert; son James Kammers; daughter Patricia (Leonard) Christian; grand-daughter, Emily Kammers; siblings, Terrence (Mary) Halloran, Mary Halloran, Rita (John) Czekuc, Patricia Halloran, Kathleen (Tony) Sass, Monica Halloran, Bernadette Halloran; sister-in-law, Joy Halloran.

FUNERAL MASS

Monday, November 27, 2023 at 12:00Noon at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with Fr. Steve Geerling officiating. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.

VISITATION

Sunday, November 26, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00PM at Clock Funeral Home with a ROSARY at 3:30PM. There will also be a visitation period one hour prior to the service at the Church.
