Marc Anthony Nastase
May 3, 1986 - July 13, 2026
Marc Anthony Nastase, of Muskegon, Michigan, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026. He was born on May 3, 1986 in Plantation, Florida.
Marc grew up in Twin Lake, Michigan, where he spent much of his childhood enjoying the waters of Twin Lake and Lake Michigan, riding ATV trails, and hunting with the people he loved. He played hockey from an early age and never stopped skating. Even into his adult life, he continued to play in tournaments and men's league hockey, a passion that stayed with him always.
Marc also spent a large portion of his life in Whitefish, Montana, working on billboards and advertising alongside his father. He fell in love with the out-west lifestyle, embracing ranching, swing dancing, and white water rafting with equal enthusiasm.
Marc had a gift for working with his hands. He tinkered with small automotives and mechanics, and created beautiful woodburning etching, and stencil work, a crafty spirit he inherited from his mother. He was a devoted dog dad to his beloved Buddy and Maicy May, who preceded him in death. He was incredibly proud of his nephew and nieces, who brought him great joy.
Marc had a kind heart. He was a caretaker and a friend to all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his mother, Sally Dault; his father, Roger Nastase; his siblings Ken Nastase (wife Cassie Nastase) and Sarena Nastase (partner Denny Spira); and his nieces and nephews, Adyn, Lucille, and Emilia.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Lenny Dault; his grandfather, Kenneth Greer; and his grandparents, Tony and Elzie Nastase.
There will be no formal service at this time. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. In honor of his love for the out-west lifestyle, the family plans to spread his ashes in the Montana mountains.
Marc's memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
