Mah'kayla Renee Jones Hudson was born October 9, 2007 but God called her Home that same morning. She leaves to cherish, her mother, Taisohn Jones; her father, Dontrale Hudson; grandparents, Precious Jones, Sean Fikes, Helen Hudson, Tommy Chandler; great grandparents, Zella Wetherspoon and Curly Thomas. She also leaves behind 4 aunts: Ta'tyana Jones, Donna Woods, Tonya and Lekesha Hudson; her uncles include: P'are Barnes, Pa'reese Jones, Gary Hudson and John Mullins Jr.; her 3 special godmothers include: Althea Jones, Stephanie Hair, and Freda Woods; 1 special aunt, Letitia Jones; a host of family and friends. In honor of my darling Mah'kayla, this is a poem for you. The goddess sent a message down brought by an angel with wings of gold. I have a little gift she said a child I need you to hold. In an instant I felt a glow and I knew that you were there, a precious gift from above, the child for whom we were to care. You were with me eternity which was but the blink of an eye; but then lady angel came back and said it's time to say goodbye. No! I cried. Please! let her stay, she hasn't been here long enough for you to take her away. The angel just smiled and infolded me in her wings. "Don't you see my child? She's destined for higher things. She was sent to bring you hope and love and now she's earned her wings. This isn't the last time you'll see Mah'kayla, just wait until the golden gates ring."
