Mae Kison

Mrs. Mae Birkholtz Kison, age 90, passed away Friday, July 13, 2007 in Muskegon, MI. She was born September 16, 1916 in Fennville, MI. Mrs. Kison moved to Chicago at a young age to care for children of prominent Chicago families. She helped raise them with discipline and love for all the children she came in contact with. Mrs. Kison returned to Muskegon and married Phillip J. Kison on August 1, 1953. He preceded her in death on September 5, 2005. She worked for many years for a local physician until her retirement. Mrs. Kison was an accomplished artist. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews. According to her wishes there will be no funeral or visitation.
