Madelyn "Jeanne" Melinn

Mrs. Madelyn "Jeanne" Melinn, age 84, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI on April 13, 1929 to Thurston & Madelyn (Alverson) Young and was happily married to Carroll A. Melinn for nearly 60 years. Mrs. Melinn had been employed as a LPN for years and she will be dearly missed. SURVIVORS Thomas (Darlene) Melinn of OK, Daniel (Roxanne Melinn of Fruitport; daughter, Nancy (Tim) Jones of Gowen, Michigan; 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Frank (Bobbi) Young of SW Missouri, Jonathan (Carol) Young of Dallas, Texas, David (Pat) Young of Oklahoma City; sister, Sue Young of Dallas, Texas; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll in 2010; sister, Vonna Beth and brother, Thomas. SERVICE Private Family Services will be held.
