Ms. Madeline C. Shalifoe, age 68, died Tuesday, October 28, 2008. She was born in Baraga Township, MI on November 9, 1939 to Edward & Cecelia (Bailey) Shalifoe. Ms. Shalifoe had been a Homemaker. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church and loved Pow Wows, reading, dancing, play Bingo, & was in the Kitchen Band at the Montague Senior Center. SURVIVORS Brothers, Ed (Hannah) Shalifoe of FL, Terry Shalifoe of Whitehall, Mike Shalifoe of Muskegon, Marty (Carol) Shalifoe of Shelby, Andy (Wendy) Shalifoe of Twin Lake, Maurice (Cindy) Shalifoe of Muskegon; sisters, Charlotte (Jack) Paszkowski of Muskegon, Bernice Estland of Whitehall; several nieces & nephews; friend, Pet 'Jay' Vanderlaan. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert; sisters-in-law, Ann & Diane. SERVICE Friday, October 31, 2008, 10:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church-Montague with Fr. Don Tufts officiating. Interment at Fruitland Township Cemetery. VISITATION Friday, 1 hour prior to the service at St. James Catholic Church.
