Madeline Adel Griffes

Mrs. Madeline "Maggie" A. Griffes, Surrounded by her family, entered the gates of Heaven on Wednesday, June 28,2023 at the age of 87. She was born in Muskegon, MI on March 4,1936 to Gerald & Mildred (Valler) Stever and married the love of her life Delmas "Del" Griffes on June 8, 1953. They enjoyed 70 years of marriage together. She was the greatest Wife, Mom, Grammy, and Grandma anyone could ask for. When you looked into her eyes, you saw a strong loving person who always put others first. Her family was the most important thing to her and she made sure we knew it right up until the end. She had a love for bowling, golf, casino trips, nightly yahtzee games, fishing, and listening to Classic Country music. She enjoyed these activities even at the age of 86. Her family will remember her most for her tender hugs, singing and humming, funny sayings, and her delicious pies.

SURVIVORS

Husband, Delmas "Del" Griffes, her children, Cindy(Norman) Casler, Wesley (Carla) Griffes, Pamela(Scott) Monday, Dana Patterson, and Donna Griffes. Nine grandchildren; Noah, Dallas, Jessica(Ryan), Jennifer, Christopher(Shannon), Amanda, Jason, Robert(Jennifer), and Phillip(Heidi). She also had several great and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Her father Gerald Stever, mother Mildred Urbanski, her two sons; Wayne Griffes and Leon Griffes, siblings Joyce Spoelma, Gerald Stever, and Rosalie Suszka.

She is deeply missed and will be forever.

Out of respect for her wishes, there will be no funeral or Celebration of life.
