NICHOLS, MRS. MABEL M. Whitehall Mrs. Mabel M. Nichols, age 83, died Monday, September 10, 2001 at her home. She was born in Oceana County, MI on October 2, 1917 to Donald & Maude Rummer Giddings & married Clarence Nichols. Mrs. Nichols had been employed as a Cook at Churchill School where she was very dedicated for 30 years until retiring. SURVIVORS 3 sons, James Maxine Nichols of SC, William Linda Nichols of Baldwin, MI & Elmer E. Nichols of Muskegon; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grand- children; 3 sisters, Alice McGhan of Muskegon, Laura Purdy of Shelby, MI & Katherine Westcomb of White Cloud, MI; brother-in-law, Bruce Nichols of Douglas, MI & sister-in-law, Belle Storms of Hart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence in 1990; daughter, Jane Reagan in 2001; 3 brothers & 3 sisters. SERVICE Thursday, September 13, 2001, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel.
