Ware-Sohasky,
Lyta Lynn
Muskegon, MI
Age 85 passed away peacefully at her home, on April 29, 2024. Born on April 1, 1939 to Bernice A. (Huttley) and Vern D. Brown in Manistee, MI. She lived there, in the home that her father built, until she graduated from Manistee High School.
In 1958, she married Nathan C. Ware, moving to Muskegon Michigan where they raised four children. While raising her children she also worked as a volunteer nurse at Hackley Hospital in the maternity ward. Rocking all the babies. A little later in life, she worked at Hage's Christian Bookstore as a salesperson.
In 2005, She married William (Bill) Sohasky. Celebrating 19 years of marriage. Bill and Lynn traveled and danced their way around the United States and Australia. Lynn liked people, for this reason she began working as a tour guide for Orchard View Travelers and as an Usher at the Frauenthal Center in downtown Muskegon. Never wanting to be sedentary, they frequently took back road adventures in the Buick right up until the last few weeks of her life. She enjoyed socializing, dancing, gardening, singing, and decorating on a dime. Decorating her home with special knickknacks and things that she had purchased on the trips that she and Bill took. Making her home feel cozy and inviting. She had a beautiful soprano singing voice and sang at churches around the Muskegon area.
