MCMILLLAN, MR. LYNN J. North Muskegon, MI Mr. Lynn J. McMilllan, age 78, died Monday, October 14, 2002. He was born in North Muskegon, MI on July 4, 1924 to James & Florence Hein McMillan. Mr. McMilllan was a graduate of North Muskegon High School in 1941. He served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII in Italy & North Africa. He graduated from North Park College Music School & was employed as a School Teacher at Duck Creek & Reeths Puffer Elementy Schools until retiring in 1986. He also had worked at the Norge & Sears. Mr. McMillan was a charter member of Fruitland Evangelical Covenant Church where he served as Chairman & as the church & choir director. He was a member of the Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel & was active with the Adoptive Reader Program at McMillan Elementary School. SURVIVORS 1 sister, Evelyn Ramey of Muskegon, MI; 2 brothers, Robert Jane McMillan of Muskegon, MI & Bernie Minnie McMillan of New Era, MI; his adopted family, Carl Timmerman & Karadean Timmerman as well as their children, Diane, Mary, Teresa, Chris, Chelsy, David Jr., Racheal, Cody, Ryan several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. SERVICE Thursday, October 17, 2002, 11:00 AM at Fruitland Evangelical Covenant Church with Rev. Brian Kyle officiating.
