Lyle Calvin Wittmus

WITTMUS, MR. LYLE CALVIN Muskegon Mr. Lyle C. Wittmus, age 92, died Wednesday, October 27, 2004. He was born in Walworth, WI on January 13, 1912 to Herman & Ruth Ward Wittmus. Mr. Wittmus had been employed as a lathe operator at Continental Motors for 38 years until retiring in 1972 and had worked for Clock Funeral Home in Muskegon and Whitehall for over 20 years. He was a member of First Christian Reformed Church, was a Calvinist Cadets Counselor, sang in the choir for 61 years, was a former Elder, played softball for many years, and was an avid sports fan. SURVIVORS 2 nephews, Russ Deborah Vlasma & Ron Milinda Vlasma, both of Muskegon; great nieces & nephews, Cam Melisa Vlasma, Gabe Vlasma, Kristen Vlasma, Joey Vlasma, Matt Vlasma. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jenny in 1970, his second wife, Margaret in 1997, and by 3 sisters, Lillian Bomers, Idamae Vlasma, Rose Payne. SERVICE Monday, November 1, 2004, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel with Pastor Mike Borgert officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Sunday, 2-5 PM at Clock Funeral Home.
