SHOUP, MR. LYLE ''BUD'' D. Muskegon, MI Mr. Lyle ''Bud'' D. Shoup, age 76, died Friday, May 16, 2003. He was born in Pierson, MI on September 26, 1926 to Arthur & Ida Fry Shoup & married the former Joyce Dahms in Muskegon, MI on May 29, 1953. Mr. Shoup served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He had been the Owner of Shoup Motor Sales for 21 years until retiring in 2000. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where he was a former church officer. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, had an avid interest in auto's, but foremost was his family. SURVIVORS Wife, Joyce; 3 sons, Tony Amanda Shoup, Scott Shoup & Dan Shoup, all of Fruitport, MI; 2 daughters, Christi Jim Beckeman of Muskegon, MI & Cathy Greg Buckley of WI; 4 grandchildren, Michelle, Brian, Abigail & Elizabeth; 2 sisters, Eunice Bordett of Boston, MA & June Hornacek of Ravenna, MI; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Thomas Walter Shoup; a sister, Louise Sudomier & by his grandson, Christopher Beckeman. SERVICE Tuesday, May 20, 2003, 11:00 AM at Grace Lutheran Church with Rev. Geoffrey Kieta officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
