DEROSE, MRS. LYDIA E. OUWERKERK Norton Shores Mrs. Lydia E. Ouwerkerk DeRose, age 82, died Friday, July 16, 2004. She was born in Muskegon, on September 8, 1921 to Nicolas & Marie Pfeifer Ouwerkerk and married Frank DeRose on June 18, 1947. Mrs. DeRose was a very creative homemaker. She was a member of Forest Park Covenant Church, the Questors Group and the Muskegon Women's Club. She was an artisan working with porcelain, pottery and china painting. She was also an antique collector and enjoyed needlepoint and gardening. SURVIVORS Husband, Frank; 1 son, Richard Nicholas Rebecca DeRose of Metamora, MI; 1 daughter, Martha Ann Adam Pinsky of Issaquah, WA; 5 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Nicholas DeRose, Samuel and Benjamin Pinsky; 5 sisters, Joan John Nedeau of North Muskegon, Julia Long of Grand Rapids, Corrie Seyferth of Ann Arbor, Sophia Hartman of Muskegon and Hannah Carl Hartkopf of Libertyville, IL. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Ruth Chandler and Mary Klemp and by 2 brothers, John and Samuel David Ouwerkerk. SERVICE Monday, July 19, 2004, 2:00 PM at Forest Park Covenant Church with Rev. Russell Carlson officiating. Interment at Norton Cemetery. VISITATION Sunday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Clock Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: Forest Park Covenant Church or Hackley Visiting Nurse Hospice. Clock - Muskegon
