SIMONELLI, MR. LUDEVECO A. ''LUDY'' Muskegon Mr. Ludeveco A. ''Ludy'' Simonelli, age 98, died Tuesday, January 20, 2004 at home. He was born in Busana, Italy on September 10, 1905 to Olinto & Santina Rico Simonelli & married the former Margaret Kubon on September 7, 1929. Mr. Simonelli had been employed as a machinist at Teledyne Continental Motors for 44 years until retiring in 1968 & was a charter member of UAW Local 113, Chief Stewart & on the bargaining committee. He was a band leader & accordion player of Ludy's Nighthawks. Mr. Simonelli was an avid sportsman & champion marksman for many years at the Seaway Skeet Club. SURVIVORS 1 son, Ronald Noreen Simonelli of New Era; 4 daughters, Evelyn Sorensen of Muskegon, Beverly Simonelli of Muskegon, Norma Whiteman of Toledo, OH & Donna Ernest Beauvais of Shelby; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Florence Sherman of Muskegon; 1 brother-in-law, Ken Shirley Kubon of Twin Lake. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret in 1992, 1 brother, Albert, 3 sisters, Ida Frankeberger, Mary Zaagman & Angeline Miner. SERVICE Saturday, January 24, 2004, 11:30 AM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. John Brown officiating. VISITATION Saturday, one hour prior to the service at Clock Funeral Home.
