Lucille M. "Lou" Luick

LUICK, MRS. LUCILLE ''LOU'' M. Muskegon Mrs. Lucille M. Luick, age 86, died Thursday, August 5, 2004. She was born in Streator, IL on September 24, 1917 to Joseph & Barbara Stephan Sheridan and married Duard Luick at St. Anthony's Church in Streator, IL on June 17, 1939. He preceded her in death in October of 2000, after 61 years of marriage. Mrs. Luick had been the manager of the Candy & Coffee Shop at Hardy Herpolshimer's & as a caterer for Carlson's Catering. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for over 60 years and Sacred Heart Alter Society for over 50 years. She will be remembered for the many beautiful wedding cakes she made & for being a great cook. She always had a smile, was the first to arrive to lend a helping hand, and always made everyone welcome & special in her home. SURVIVORS Son, Norbert Sally Luick of Fruitport, MI; 2 daughters, Patricia Jo William Hamilton of Traverse City, MI, Luanne Luick of Muskegon; 4 grandchildren, Mark Mitzi Hamilton of GA, Karri Jo Zipser of Traverse City, MI, Zachary Mae Luick of Midland, MI, Thaddeus Luick of Fruitport, MI; 3 great grandchildren, Baille Jo Zipser, Summer & Tristen Luick; brother, Joseph Sheridan of IL; 4 sisters, Delores Rawls, Rita Bob Korstick, & Eleanor Gallick, all of IL, Helen Andrew of Whitehall, MI; many nieces & nephews; special friend, Karen Rose of Muskegon. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Sheridan. SERVICE Monday, August 9, 2004, 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Norman Droski officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Sunday, 6-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home with a Rosary Service at 7:30 PM. MEMORIAL: Hospice of Muskegon Oceana or Alzheimer's Association.
