Lucille E. Booker

Mrs. Lucille E. (Andrus) Booker, age 89, passed away Friday night, February 15, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center. She was married to William E. Booker, who preceded her in death, Feb. 3, 1997. She graduated from Muskegon High School. She was a member of Cloverville Bible Church, where she taught Sunday School. She is survived by 3 daughters, Marilyn (Dale) Bannon of Ludington, Linda Wright of Muskegon and Laurel (Ted) Losley of Scottville; 2 sons, William (Nettie) Booker of Kawkawlin and Bruce Booker of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Dale (Freida) Andrus of Muskegon. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Tom Wright; a grandson, Edward; 3 sisters, Margie, Helen and Ardeth. Funeral Services will be held today (Tuesday) at 11:00am from the Alexander-Rye Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Barber officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment at East Dalton, Oakhill Cemetery, Muskegon. Memorials may be directed to Ludington Public Library or a library of choice. Mrs. Booker was an avid reader and library supporter all of her life.
