Luanne Leatherman

LEATHERMAN, MRS. LUANNE M. Muskegon Mrs. Luanne M. Leatherman, age 44, died Tuesday, May 16, 2006. She was born in Lansing, MI on April 18, 1962 to Morris D. & Anna (Halverson) Stevenson and married Daniel B. Leatherman on June 16, 1984. Luanne was a great example of courage to her family and many friends. She bravely faced all challenges and never quit fighting. Luanne taught her children many things about life and was an inspiration to her husband and others. She always had a smile for everyone and never was discouraged in the long struggle with her illness. Mrs. Leatherman had been employed as a Medical Records Technician at Hackley Hospital. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and member of the American Health Information Management Association. SURVIVORS Husband, Daniel B. Leatherman; 2 daughters, Katherine Marie Leatherman, Julianne Marie Leatherman; 2 sisters, Susan Stevenson of Whitelake, MI, Kristina Stevenson of Lansing, MI; 1 sister-in-law, Robin (Russ) Jones of Fruitport, MI; 2 brothers-in-law, Thomas (Peggy) Zagers of Hesperia, MI, Chris (Christine) Zagers of Taiwan & close friends, Elizabeth Kinzie of North Carolina & Michael Nevin of Fremont, MI. She was preceeded in death by her parents, Morris & Anna Stevenson. SERVICE Saturday, May 20, 2006, 2:00 PM at First Lutheran Church with Rev. William Uetricht officiating.
