Louise Dykema

Louise Marie Dykema, age 90, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025. She was born on June 11, 1935, in Muskegon, Michigan.

Louise was known for her warm hospitality and her love of entertaining in her home. A wonderful cook and baker, she found great joy in sharing meals with family and friends. She also cherished visits to Lake Michigan, often followed by a favorite treat of ice cream.

She is survived by her children, Denise Combs (John) and Marc Dykema (Keri), and by her beloved granddaughters, Megan and Rachel.

Louise was preceded in death by her husbands, Albert Nieboer and Andrew Dykema; her parents, Edna and Derk Buit; and her sisters, Gladys Hazekamp and Arlene Martens. She is survived by her brother, Paul Buit (Jo), who resides in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Unity Reformed Church of Muskegon, Michigan.
