Mr. Louis Elton Martin IV, age 23, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2007 at home. He was born February 5, 1984 in Muskegon, MI to John and Jody (Schippers) Martin. Louis was employed at Michigan Steel Foundry. His special hobbies were working on cars and car shows. Louis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Doris Arlene Martin, Louis Elton Martin, Jr., and William J. Schippers. Surviving are his children, Louis Elton Martin V, Tapanga Lorraine Martin, Naomi Marie Chaffin, and Lukas John Martin; parents, John brother, John Lorraine Martin, Jr.; grandmother, Ruthann Schippers; many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. FUNERAL SERVICES for Louis will be Monday, July 9th at 11:00 a.m. at Ever Rest Funeral Home & Chapel with Pastor Matthew Young officiating. VISITATION will be Sunday, July 8th from 4 to 8 p.m. at Ever Rest Funeral Home & Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave., and one hour before the service on Monday (10 to 11 a.m.). Interment will be in Ravenna Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Louis' family c/o John or Jody Martin.
