Louis Hiles

Mr. Louis J. Hiles, age 85, passed away peacefully Monday, August 11, 2014. He was born in Blanchester, OH on February 27, 1929 to Lewis & Jessie (Little) Hiles and married the former Beatrice Marie Anderson on June 18, 1955. Mr. Hiles had been employed at Muskegon Cast Products for years until retiring. He was a member of CrossWinds Fellowship. Louis loved working with his hands and even built his own house. He enjoyed hunting and working on bikes. Louis loved music and was a talented guitar and banjo player. His fondness for Bluegrass Gospel showed in his smiles every time he played. SURVIVORS Son, Michael (Lori) Hiles of Holton; daughter, Pamela (Alan) Stroven of North Muskegon; grandchildren, Lacy (Todd) Sloan of Twin Lake, Daniel (Anne) Stroven of WI, Christopher Stroven of FL; great grandchildren, Riley Sloan, Theron Stroven; sisters-in-law, Mildred Hunter of Newaygo, Rose (Jim) Morgan of OH, Jessie (Jerry) Kannard of OH; special friends, Dan & Evelyn Furbusch; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Beatrice; brothers, William Schippers & Henry Hiles; and sisters, Ruby Obrien & Laura Smedley.
