Louis R. Arcioni

Mr. Louis R. Arcioni, age 80, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2008. He was born January 30, 1928 in Muskegon to Frank and Zelda (Cuykendall) Arcioni. Mr. Arcioni worked for the Artistic Carten formerly Muskegon Paper Box for 49 years and retired in 1990. Mr. Arcioni has lived in Auburn, Indiana for the past 22 years. He was an avid sportsman and loved to golf, fish and hunt, and also loved spending time with his family. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and Knights of Columbus. He was the President of the Aging & Home Services and Senior Heimach Center Auburn, Indiana. On August 14, 1948 he married the former Lillian W. Allen in Muskegon and she survives him along with 4 children, Frank (Patricia) Arcioni of Marshall, MI, Louis (Annette) Arcioni II of Bradenton, FL, Diane (Ernest) Davis of Muskegon, and Anna (Mark Randall) Fox of Ruckersville, VA; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 4 sisters, Rose mary Wiard, Delores Moore, Zelda (Wally) Tiefenthal and Francis (Jerry) Fernette. He was preceded in death by his son, James Arcioni in 1972; brother, William Arcioni, and sister, and Cathleen Link. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Rev. Father Michael Olson officiating. Visitation with the family will be 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Tuesday at The Lee Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 Internment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorial Contributions in honor of Louis may be given to The American Heart Association or the Senior Heimach Center in Auburn, Indiana.
