Lori Estelle Cuti, 62, of Muskegon, Michigan, passed away on June 4, 2026.
Born in Muskegon on September 4, 1963, to Richard Cuti and Elizabeth (Jensen), Lori grew up in the area and was closely connected with the Muskegon High Class of 1981. Lori's greatest joy was her family, and she cherished every moment spent together. She had a passion for cooking, not just for the food itself, but for its power to unite the people she loved.
Lori was hardworking and kind, sharing her talents across many roles. She was a dedicated employee at Cole's Bakery for over a dozen years, served as a teacher's aide, and provided compassionate care in nursing home settings. For over six years, Lori embraced island living in Hawaii, where she worked and was part of the New Hope Church community on Oahu. Though she loved Hawaii, her heart called her back to Michigan to be close to her family. In Muskegon, she was a member of Port City Church.
Lori is survived by her beloved children, Matthew (Renee Gelderloos) Cuti and Jessica (Anthony Kinsey) Cuti. She was also a mother figure to her bonus children, Nikki (John) Ramey and Sandra Mitchell. She will be remembered with love by the fathers of her children, Gary Pothoff and Robert "Rooster" Clay. She is also survived by her cherished brother, Tony (Erin) Cuti and their children, Eli, Tyler, Emma, and Tessa; and her lifelong best friend, Angela Morin. Lori was a proud "grandmother" to her fur babies, Kalo, Sadie, and Luna.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Elizabeth; her dear sister, Leslie Cuti; and her beloved dog, Chopper.
In accordance with Lori's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date; details will be announced once they are finalized.
