Lorena Zoss

Mrs. Lorena C. Zoss, age 85, died Tuesday, January 6, 2009. She was born in Mt. Vernon, IL on October 5, 1923 to Clyde & Lorena (Tucker) Thomas and married Bernard Zoss on July 19, 1947. Mrs. Zoss had been employed as a Librarian at Muskegon Community College for many years until retiring. She was a longtime member of Central United Methodist Church, a member of A.A.U.W. and enjoyed international travel and reading, but foremost was always her family & dear friends. SURVIVORS Son, Rick (Ann) Zoss of TX; daughter, Nancy (Steve) French of Alto, MI; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Irma Pierce of IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard in 1985. SERVICE Saturday, January 10, 2009, 11:00 AM at Central United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Randall Hansen & Chaplain Jan Johnson officiating. Interment at Mona View Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Muskegon Community College Scholarship Fund.
