Nelson, Mrs. Lora Maxine Muskegon Mrs. Lora Maxine Nelson, age 89, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020. She was born in Muskegon, MI on May 23, 1930 to Paul & Madge (Fletcher) Hadley and married Robert Nelson on July 8, 1950. Lora was a family oriented woman who enjoyed crafting, sewing & doll making. SURVIVORS Husband, Robert; children, Pat (Marty) Greene, Bruce (Joy) Nelson, Paula (Bill) Davidson; grandchildren, Stacie (Peter) Golaszewski of GA, Christy (Stefan) Schachtell of WA, Kim (Roy) Deadman of London, England, Kate Durbin of VA, Kara Nelson of Grand Rapids, Olivia Davidson of Grand Rapids; great grandchildren, Jack & Ford Golaszewski, Ohtli Schachtell, Freya Deadman, Atlas Durbin; sister, Ev (Bob) Fenner; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends; longtime friends, Joan Nellis & Joyce Postema. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Betty Frank & Bev Sorenson. SERVICE Saturday, March 7, 2020, 5:00 PM with visitation one hour prior to the service at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. R. John Thompson officiating. Internment in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
