She was born in Pellston, MI on March 9, 1915 to Arthur & Fannie Winters West & married Robert A. Johnson. Mrs. Johnson had been employed as a Retail Clerk at Grossmans & Hardy Herpolsheimers & was a member of Evanston Avenue Baptist Church. SURVIVORS 1 son, Franklin Patricia Corbin of Twin Lake, MI; 1 daughter, Jacqueline William Farnquist of Norton Shores, MI; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; cousin, Bernice Huff of Belmont, MI; 1 brother-in-law, Arthur Wittebort of Montague, MI. Several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1971; a grandson, Bradley Corbin in 1970; 2 sisters, Bernice I. Jewitt & Addie Hawkins & by a brother, Rex Holden. SERVICE Friday, April 25, 2003, 11:00 AM at Evanston Avenue Baptist Church with Pastor Brian Oberg & Pastor Al Engstrom officiating. Interment at Holton Cemetery. VISITATION Thursday, 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home & Friday, one hour prior to the service at the church. MEMORIAL: American Diabetes Association or Evanston Avenue Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
