Lois Ruth Hintze Wrase

WRASE, MRS. LOIS RUTH Muskegon, MI Mrs. Lois Ruth Hintze Wrase, age 78, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2003. She was born in Chicago, IL on March 11, 1925 to Leonard Clayton & Anna Ruth Schlegel Hintze. After attending St. Scholastica Academy, she continued her education at Mundelein College where she graduated in 1946 with a degree in Journalism. Lois married William A. Wrase, also of Chicago, on November 23, 1946 at St. Ignatius Church in Chicago. She has spent the last 57 years of her life in Muskegon as a devoted & loving wife, mother & grandmother. A community volunteer, Lois served as an active member of the Mercy Hospital Women's Guild, Service League of Muskegon, & St. Francis deSales Catholic Church. SURVIVORS Husband, William; her sons, William Wrase Jr. & daughter-in-law, Jill of Rockford, Il; Brian Wrase & daughter-in-law, Jill Beth of Grand Rapids, MI; her daughters, JoAnne & son-in-law, Roger Hoekenga of Spring Lake, MI; Judith & son-in-law, Eric Douville of Tecumseh, MI; Jill & son-in-law, Bruce Holwerda of Midland, MI; Jeanne & son-in-law, Chuck Morris of Birmingham, AL. Her grandchildren, Joshua & Kurt Wrase, Austin & Jaclyn Wrase, Sara & Adam Holwerda, & Andrew & Leann Morris, also survive her. Her parents, Ruth & Leonard Hintze preceded her in death. A MEMORIAL MASS Monday, November 3, 2003, 11:00 AM at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Simons officiating. VISITATION Sunday, 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home.
