Lois Torrey

Mrs. Lois Louise Torrey, age 74, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 5, 2016. She was born in White Cloud, on July 5, 1941 to James & Violet (Lang) Smith and married Thomas Torrey on August 5, 1958. Mrs. Torrey had been a loving wife, mother & grandmother who enjoyed crocheting, making rugs and crossword puzzles. SURVIVORS Husband of 58 years, Thomas Sr.; sons, Thomas (Denise) Torrey Jr. of Muskegon, Ted (Dian) Torrey of Muskegon, Terry (Linda) Torrey of Muskegon, John (Mary) Torrey of Whitehall; 12 grandchildren, many great grandchildren; sister, Pam Bassam of TX, brothers, Bud (Barb) Bronkhorst of TX, Tim Preston of Muskegon; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Ethel, Bonnie, Kathy & Jim. SERVICE Saturday, May 7, 2016, 11:00 am at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Chaplain Doug officiating. Interment in Goodwell Township Cemetery. VISITATION Friday, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Harbor Hospice.
