It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lisa Kay Armstrong, who departed this life peacefully from natural causes on August 3, 2025, just shy of her 58th birthday. Born on August 17, 1967, in Traverse City, Michigan, Lisa was the beloved daughter of James and Edith (Haywood) Robbins. She grew up in a close-knit family and graduated from Glen Lake High School, where her vibrant spirit and kindness left a lasting impression on those around her.

For 23 years, Lisa dedicated her life to the field of healthcare as a phlebotomist, serving the communities of Muskegon at Muskegon General Hospital, Hackley Hospital, and Mercy Hospital. Her gentle touch and compassionate nature brought comfort to countless patients throughout her career, embodying her commitment to helping others.

Outside of her professional life, Lisa found joy in many pursuits. She was an avid fisherman, with fond memories of participating in noodling for catfish during her time living in Oklahoma. Her creative spirit shone through in her passions for cross-stitching, knitting, and crocheting, which allowed her to express her love for handmade artistry. An exceptionally talented flower arranger, Lisa often created stunning arrangements for weddings, adding her personal touch to life's most cherished moments.

Lisa is survived by her devoted husband, Lawrence 'Larry" Armstrong; her cherished sons, Cody Armstrong and Jeremiah (Olivia) Armstrong; her beloved grandchild, Max Armstrong; her sister, Christine Dykema; her brother, James "Ed" (Sandy) Robbins; and her special niece, Amy Dinkins along with several other nieces and nephews. She inspired all who knew her with her warmth, creativity, and unwavering love for her family.

A Celebration of Life for Lisa will be planned in the near future. where family and friends will gather to share memories and celebrate the remarkable woman Lisa was.

Lisa Kay Armstrong will be dearly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.
