Lintjer, Donald

Mr. Donald "Red" Lintjer, age 77, died October 1, 2006. He was born Feb. 28, 1929 in Muskegon to the late William & Josie (Vander Ley) Lintjer and married the former Jane Ann Redemsky Jan. 15, 1949 in Muskegon. Prior to his retirement he worked for Dayton Tire Center and a salesman for Mona Shore Toyota. Red was a member of Hope Reformed Church, a trustee on the Laketon Township Board for 23 years, a member of Williston Golf & Country Club and the Florida Youth Ranch in Williston, FL. He also served in the Naval Reserve in Muskegon. Red is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jane Ann; 2 daughters; Debbie (Doug) Plamondon, Grand Haven, Cindy (Robert) Wells, Comstock Park, MI; 2 sons: Alan (Shelli) Lintjer and Michael (Sherri) Lintjer both of Muskegon. 7 grandchildren and l great grandson; 2 brothers; Carl (Loretta) Lintjer, Hendersonville, N.C. and Jack (Jerri) Lintjer, Muskegon. The Service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Hope Reformed Church, 14932 Mercury Dr. Grand Haven with Rev. Arnold Van Beek officiating. Friends may meet the family 5-7 P.M.
