Linda Lou Powles

Powles, Linda Lou Muskegon, Michigan Linda Lou Powles, age 81, passed away at home, with family at her side on Saturday, October 22, 2022. She was born in Muskegon, MI on January 18, 1941 to Alvin & Lora (Riley) Buck. Linda was primarily a homemaker and mother but she did work at Standard Automotive and Giardin Sportswear in her younger days. She was a great cook and liked to play cards with her sisters and friends. Linda enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved babysitting and taking care of children, not only her own, but many other's children as well. She was a true "Baby Whisperer" and could quiet down a crying baby in no time with her sweet, loving nature. Linda will be greatly missed by all who knew her. SURVIVORS 2 sons, Daniel (Julie) Jolman, Donny Jolman; daughter Julie Lawrence; 7 grandchildren, John Suida, Derek Jolman, Matthew Jolman, Michael Jolman, Marissa Jolman, Jacob Lawrence, Jenna Lawrence; great-grandchildren, Lilian, Dylan, Elliot, Paislie, Ian, Briella, Skylar; sisters, Kay (Ray) Romero, Karen (Art) Beall; many nieces and nephews; longtime friend Sandi Barclay; And a very special thank you from her children to her niece and caregiver Sherri Barr for her wonderful care of Linda over the last several years. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and brother Tom Buck. SERVICE Saturday, October 29, 2022, 11:00 AM at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Rob Cook officiating. Interment in Shippy Cemetery.
