Linda Kay Gifford

Linda Kay Gifford age 74 went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday April 26, 2026. She was born April 13, 1952 to Norman and Mildred (Hartman) Gifford.

Linda was a graduate of Whitehall High School and worked for many years at Hackley Hospital until her retirement. The most important part of Linda's life was her faith and her church family .She was a devout and lifetime member of "The Way Church" in Muskegon where her life was centered and her spirit was nourished.

She was involved in her church's bus ministry and loved attending Ladies events of all kinds. Linda was a "Miracle Lady" at her church, preparing meals after and in-between services and was famous for her porridge.

She is survived by her brother Louis (Kathy) Gifford of Muskegon Mi. Cousins Mary ( Dr David) Sikkenga of Wheaton Il, Drs Rhonda (Philip) Petsch of Montague Mi, Cynthia (Larry) Voss of Long Beach Ca, Shelly Paulsen of Grand Rapids Michigan, Kirk (Angie) Paulsen of Fruitport, Michigan, Sharon (Bill) Trok of Valley Center, Ca, and Lori (Gary) Cowman of Laguna Beach, Ca. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant twin siblings George & Carol, cousin David Hutchins, and half sister.

Linda did not have much but was incredibly generous and thoughtful and gave great gifts. She was loved and will be missed.

A memorial service to celebrate Linda's life and faith will be held at The Way Church, 1875 Hudson St., Muskegon, Mi 49441, on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 7pm. Visitation at 6:30 pm. Arrangements are being handled by Clock Funeral Home.
