Linda Lue Van Dongen

God saw her getting tired, a cure not meant to be, so he put his arms around her and whispered "come with me" Linda Lue Van Dongen, age 61, on this day, Monday the 18th of February 2008, at her home with her family by her side. She was born May 3, 1946 in Muskegon to Lloyd and Ella (Hendrick) Anderson and was a graduate of Muskegon High School. On March 14, 1970 she married James N. Van Dongen in Muskegon and he survives her along with 2 sons, Jon Robert (Bridget) Van Dongen and their family, Allison and Emma of Sanford, MI; Tony James (Angela) Van Dongen of Novi, MI; and her sister, Barb (Dan) Stone of Texas. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at The Lee Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100 with Pastor Doug Vander Molen officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS to Hackley Visiting Nurses and Hospice will be appreciated.
