Lillian Mary Ann Prentice, age 85, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at the Poppen Hospice Residence. She was born September 27, 1921 in Hartford, WI to Fred & Clara (Rausch) Hamann. She grew up in Milwaukee and attended Marquette University where she met her husband Edwin Prentice to whom she was married in 1941. She lived most of her adult life in Muskegon where she was an active member in Central Lutheran Church, later becoming a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Some of her interests included cooking, reading, gardening, genealogy and feeding the birds, but most of all her life was dedicated to her family, by whom she will be greatly missed. Lillian will be remembered as being one of the most kind people you could ever meet, never having an unkind word to say about anyone. SURVIVORS 2 sons, Ed Prentice of Allendale, Paul (Kris) Prentice of N. Muskegon; 3 daughters, Patricia Prentice of Muskegon, Mary (Tom) Berwald of Grand Haven, Jean (Dave) Keim of Wisconsin; daughter-in-law, Linda Prentice of Maryland; 17 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; Former husband, Edwin Prentice of Nevada. She was preceded in death by her son Gerald. SERVICE Friday, June 8, 2007, 11:00 AM at First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Entombment at Evergreen Mausoleum. VISITATION Thursday, 7-9 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Poppen Hospice Residence.
