Lillian Nelson

Mrs. Lillian B. Nelson, age 101, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014. She was born in Chicago, IL on April 4, 1912 to Oscar & Linda (Andersen) Olsen and married Charles F. Nelson on December 24, 1936. She was an active life time member of Olivet Evangelical Free Church and various ministries of the church. Mrs. Nelson had been a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Son, Burton Nelson of Mackinaw City; daughter, Lynn (Larry) VanderMolen of Muskegon; grandchildren, Kristen, Scott, Ann, Todd, Kathleen, Cheryl (Kevin), Bryce (Suria), Carol (Daniel), John (Danielle); great grandchildren, Alex, Leah, Daniel, Julia, Taylor, Walker, Kadence, Charles, Lila Beau, Amya, Nelson, Bear, Willow, Juneau, one great granddaughter on the way; sister, Louise Young of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles in 1981, infant son John, sisters Mae Bultema and Alice Olsen, and daughter-in-law, Chris Ann Nelson. SERVICE Saturday, February 8, 2014, 11:00 AM and visitation one hour prior to the service at Olivet Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Craig Cramblet officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery.
