Lilah M. Peirson

Peirson, Lilah M. Grand Haven, MI Mrs. Lilah M. Peirson, age 71, went to be with her Lord, following a short illness, Sunday, December 7, 2003. She was born in Saginaw, Michigan on February 2, 1932 to Herman and Hulda Reinke Spiekermann and married LeRoy Bradley Peirson in Saginaw on September 30, 1950. A Grand Haven area resident for 32 years, Mrs. Peirson was a Homemaker and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and great granddaughter. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and enjoyed flower gardening and needle work. Survivors: Husband of 53 years, LeRoy of Grand Haven; 1 son, Stephen L. Carol Peirson of Grand Haven; Grandchildren, Bradley Peirson, Stephen Peirson Jr., and Chris Moore, all of Grand Haven; 1 great granddaughter, Kiersten Moore of Big Rapids. Several nieces and nephews. 4 sisters Edna Spencer Wiltsee, Carlene Dick Rice, Sally Walter Hetzner and Dorothy Dean Heartwell. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Herman Spiekermann, Jr., and Harold Spiekermann, also one grandson, Michael Noell. Funeral Services: Tuesday, December 9, 2003, 4:00 pm at Clock Funeral Home Grand Haven with Pastor Delbert Yoder officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial: Charity of choice.
