Lewis Ayers

Mr. Ayers, age 72, died May 15, 2007. Born September 24, 1934, in Hinsdale, Illinois, to Gaylin and Mildred (Ayers) Roessler, he had lived in the White Lake area the past 15 years. In 1982, he married the former Barbara Cockerell, who preceded him in death on Feb. 8, 2007. He had worked as a tool & die maker for General Motors Corp. until retiring in 1982, and was a member of Lebanon Lutheran Church. FAMILY: 3 Sons, William Roessler of Howell, Christopher (Traci) Penney and Brian Penney, both of Fenton; 1 daughter, Elizabeth (Tim) Case of Hart; 2 step-daughters, Debra (James) Chillemi and Wanda (Tom) Chillemi both of IL; 7 grandchildren. SERVICE: Friday, May 18, 2007 at 1:00 PM from Lebanon Lutheran Church with the Rev. Douglas M. Ogden officiating. Interment will be made in Mount Emblem Cemetery - Elmhurst, Illinois.
