Leroy Bradley Peirson

PEIRSON JR., MR. LE ROY B. Grand Haven Mr. LeRoy B. Peirson, age 77, died Saturday, May 29, 2004. He was born in Saginaw, Michigan on April 30, 1927 to LeRoy and Ruth Clark Peirson and married the former Lilah Spiekermann in Saginaw, MI on September 30, 1950. Mr. Peirson had been employed as a Supervisor at Consumers Power Company for 42 years until retiring on August 1, 1994. He enjoyed working, golf and bowling, having been the league secretary-treasurer for two leagues. LeRoy served his country during WW II in the US Army Air Force. SURVIVORS Son, Stephen L. Carol Peirson of Grand Haven; 3 grandchildren, Bradley Peirson, Stephen Peirson, Jr., and Chris Moore, all of Grand Haven; 1 great granddaughter, Kiersten Moore of Big Rapids, MI; 2 brothers, Bruce Jolene Peirson of Port Townsend, WA and Bernard Penny Fleischmann of Midland, MI. He was preceded in death by his wife Lilah on December 7, 2003, a grandson, Michael Noell, a sister, Beryl Weatherbee and a brother, Berdette Peirson. SERVICE Thursday, June 3, 2004, 4:00 PM at Clock Funeral Home with Pastor Delbert Yoder officiating. Military Rites will be provided by the Sgt. Alvin Jonker VFW Post 2326. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Clock Funeral Home. Memorial: Hospice of North Ottawa Community.
