Leonard J. Marcil MARCIL, MR. LEONARD J. "LEN" Husband of Arlaine Spring Lake Mr. Leonard "Len" J. Marcil, age 87, died Friday morning, January 13, 2006, at Hackley Hospital. He was born January 17, 1918 in Muskegon to Philip & Margaret (Kinrade) Marcil and had resided in the area most of his life. Prior to his retirement in 1984, Len had worked for G.T.E. (Verizon) for 43 years. He was a member of Westwood Reformed Church. On August 23, 1944 he married the former Arlaine Haase and she survives him along with 3 children, Phil (Carol) Marcil of Norton Shores, Lynn (Mary) Marcil of Laketon Township and Ann (Chuck) Pothoff of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Margaret (Lyle) Tester of Traverse City and by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Eric Marcil on March 2, 2000 and by his brother, Howard J. Marcil. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Monday, January 16, 2006 at Westwood Reformed Church (3025 Glenside Blvd.) with Rev. David Willerup officiating. VISITATION will be 2-5PM Sunday at The Walburn Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565 and 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Lakeside Cemetery.
