He was born in Muskegon, MI on July 28, 1912 to William & Henrietta VandeKoppel Kooiman & married the former Marjorie Tazelaar. Mr. Kooiman owned & operated Kooiman Photography until retiring. He was a member of Berean Church, the Michigan Photographers Society, Professional Photographers of America & the Professional Photographers of Michigan. SURVIVORS Wife, Marjorie; 1 son, Kenneth Carolyn Kooiman of New Era, MI; 3 grandchildren, Christine Kooiman of St. Joseph, MI, Timothy Laura Kooiman of Kalamazoo, MI & Leanne Matthew Feldpausch of White Cloud, MI; 4 great grandchildren, David, Michael, Robert & Thomas Feldpausch; 4 sisters, Henrietta Ackerson of Kalamazoo, MI, Wilhelmina Wolffis of Denver, CO, Anna Edward Dornbos of Muskegon, MI & Ruth Jack Thompson of Muskegon, MI; many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by 9 brothers & sisters. SERVICE Wednesday, December 18, 2002, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Dwight Reed officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery.
