Carter, Jr. Leonard James Muskegon Leonard James Carter Jr., age 29, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 2, 2021. He was born in Muskegon, MI on February 14, 1992 to Leonard Carter Sr. and Dorothy Kimble. He married the former Jessica Vazquez on June 26, 2021. He was the light of the party anywhere he went. His smile and laugh could brighten anybody's day. Leonard loved being around family and friends. He especially loved being around his children, taking them fishing was the way they made the best memories. Leonard also had his own personal hobbies like fishing, listening and making music, and playing basketball with his son. Leonard was a loving father, husband and friend, always. He was preceded in death by great-grandparents Robert & Dorothy Welch; grandparents James Ligginsd, Rosie Lee Kimble, Jacqueline Thompson; brother, Michael Carter; nieces India Kimble-Redeck and Akeia Kimble.
